We are hiring for our leading Indian MNC client, a reputed poultry feed manufacturing company in India.
🔹 ROLE OBJECTIVE
Part of the Central Buying Organization (CBO) for the Animal & Aqua Feed Business, responsible for South Region raw material procurement with focus on cost efficiency, supply continuity and supplier performance.
The role requires strong market intelligence, supplier networking, commercial acumen and stakeholder management, with the ability to take quick decisions in a volatile agri-commodity market.
🔹 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- End-to-end procurement of Maize, Soya DOC, DORB, Rice Bran, Rice Polish, DDGS, Groundnut DOC & Mustard DOC.
- Develop new vendors and manage supplier relationships and performance.
- Conduct crop surveys, market visits and commodity price analysis.
- Manage P2P, SAP MM, E-Auction, MIS and digital procurement tools.
- Coordinate inbound logistics and ensure timely material availability.
- Drive cost savings, TCO reduction and procurement efficiency.
- Work closely with Production, Stores, Quality, Finance and Logistics teams.
- Ensure uninterrupted supply and achieve OTD targets.
🔹 CANDIDATE PROFILE
- 7–8+ years of experience in Agri-Commodities / Animal Feed / Grain Procurement / Agriculture / Food Processing.
- Strong sourcing, negotiation, market intelligence and vendor development skills.
- SAP MM / E-Auction knowledge preferred.
- Fluent Kannada is mandatory.
- Willingness to travel extensively across India.
