Position Summary
We are looking for an experienced professional to take end-to-end responsibility for broiler integration operations across the assigned zone, covering DOC placement, brooding, growing, bird health, feed management and harvesting. The role will focus on achieving optimum productivity, effective cost management, farmer satisfaction and overall operational profitability.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the overall Broiler Integration Zone, including approximately 10 lakh birds/month placement.
- Oversee the complete broiler cycle from DOC/chick placement to final harvesting.
- Manage contract farmers, farm capacity, placement planning and farmer development.
- Monitor key production parameters including Mortality, FCR, ADG, Body Weight, Livability, Feed Consumption and Harvest Age.
- Ensure effective implementation of vaccination, medication, biosecurity and farm management practices.
- Coordinate with Hatchery, Feed, Veterinary, Logistics and Commercial teams.
- Lead and supervise the field integration team and drive team performance.
- Monitor and control production costs while improving farm-wise and batch-wise profitability.
- Review operational MIS and implement corrective actions to achieve targets.
- Ensure timely chick placement and harvesting as per business requirements.
Candidate Profile
- Minimum Graduate, preferably in Poultry Science, Veterinary Science, Agriculture or Animal Husbandry.
- Minimum 10 years of hands-on experience in Broiler Integration.
- Proven experience in managing large-scale broiler integration operations; exposure to 10 lakh+ birds/month will be preferred.
- Strong knowledge of broiler production, farm management, feed management, bird health, biosecurity and contract farming.
- Strong experience in team leadership and contract farmer management.
- Excellent analytical, communication and decision-making skills.
- Willingness to travel extensively across the assigned zone.
Candidate Preference
Candidates currently working with Sampoorna Feeds or IB Group will not be considered for this position.
Preference will be given to local candidates from Jalandhar/Punjab with strong knowledge of the local poultry market, farmer network and regional broiler integration operations.
